BEKI LANGUAGE/GAY LINGO

One language, diverse dialects. Our Global language is English; our National language is Filipino. We have different dialects that we use everyday to communicate, it depends on the location and environment. The language changes as the time changes. Such as Gay Language or Gay Lingo. It is a way of communication especially for the LGBTQ particularly the Gays. Gays learn to speak with a colorful vocabulary,using certain words with another term.
In our country, Gay Lingo is a wide, vast, and one of the complicated language we have during these days. Gay Lingo also depends on what dialect they are using. The dialect matters for it is the root of Gay Lingo.The use of gay lingo was first used to avoid people from hearing what you are talking about, especially when it comes to sex. Just like any slang, Filipino gay lingo started out with replacing certain words with another term.
For example,
The Gay lingo for ''lami" from cebuano is "imalin/imal"; for "gwapo/gwapa" is "shufo/shufa"; for "sosyal" is "layshu"
From Tagalog, the word "inay/itay" is "ermats/erpats".
